LookSee Application Overview


LookSee


LookSee turns a phone camera into an intelligent discovery tool. The Android and iOS application uses AI-powered computer vision to detect landmarks, exhibits, storefronts, and other objects in real time, then presents helpful overlays with descriptions, context, and promotions.

    Real-time landmark detection: Identify objects through the live camera feed and instantly surface more information.
    User-contributed training: Business users can upload videos to train the model on new landmarks or improve existing detections.
    Promotions and engagement: Add offers, calls to action, and descriptive content that appears when a landmark is detected.
    Flexible access levels: Guests can scan without an account, while registered users can save detection history and revisit landmark information.

For business users, LookSee includes a 14-day free trial with two training tokens. Each model-training run consumes one token, allowing a business to add two landmarks or refine a landmark after an initial training cycle. After the trial, a subscription keeps business-owned landmarks active, and additional tokens can be purchased for new or updated training.

Carson Application Overview


Carson


Carson is a mobile safety application designed to help identify potential driver impairment before and during a trip. The prototype combines short verbal and cognitive assessments with real-time driving monitoring to encourage safer decisions behind the wheel.


Pre-drive assessment: Simple math,recall, and verbal prompts help gauge cognitive readiness before driving.

Real-time monitoring: The app evaluates speed, acceleration, road position, phone use, and other signals associated with risky driving behavior.

AI-assisted risk analysis: Driver performance data is compared with a personalized digital twin and aggregate driving patterns to estimate potential impairment risk.

Hands-free interaction: Voice and audio prompts support assessments and alerts without distracting the driver.

Emergency contact support: The app can notify a selected contact when warning signs indicate the driver may need intervention.


Prototype Goal

Carson is being developed as a prototype mobile application that explores how speech-based assessments, sensor data, and artificial intelligence (AI) can work together as a preventative tool. The goal is not to replace personal judgment or professional evaluation, but to provide timely feedback that helps users make safer driving choices.
